Ascendant Capital (“AC”) is a Colorado based private investment & advisory services firm focused on the residential whole loan mortgage market. AC was founded in 2011 with the goal of acquiring non-conforming and scratch and dent whole loans from an array of financial institutions. In addition to the principal investment activities, AC provides advisory services to the mortgage banking sector with regard to valuation, secondary marketing best execution and analytics for residential whole loans.

AC’s experienced team consists of veterans of mortgage banking, secondary marketing/capital markets, asset management and whole loan sales and trading backgrounds. AC’s primary goal is to provide creative solutions for our investment partners, financial institutions and mortgage banking clients. AC believes there is an opportunity to purchase residential scratch and dent as well as non-conforming whole loans at discounts that will allow our investment partners to obtain attractive risk adjusted returns.
